PSA Creating a Powerful Public Service Announcement

What is a PSA?

PSA’s are short announcements prepared to provide information to the public to create awareness about an important issue, inform and influence public opinion about a current important topic or provide health and safety tips.

 Your PSA must include:

Minimum 8-10 slides

    • One “Cover Slide” that shows your group name, class period, first name of group members
    • Your issue must be clearly stated in short, memorable phrases.
  • You must include information from your research to support your claim. (What are the working conditions?)

  • One- Two slides that have a call for action. What do you want the viewer to do to help make changes for these workers? This should include what the viewer can do to help or where to get more information.
  • Your PSA must be persuasive.
  • You must include audio and visuals.

Your PSA should either focus on:

Or
